Brian Caminer brings public, private, and not-for-profit legal, legislative, procurement, and ethics experience and expertise to Caminer Law. Combined Irene and Brian have the skills necessary to advise and lead from idea through completion in a timely and efficient manner.

Water
Since starting Caminer Law in 2018, Caminer Law has been serving three communities as they studied and analyzed an alternate water supply. For these communities, she is currently advocating for Lake Michigan Allocation Permits from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) and planning, drafting, and negotiating next steps to becoming water purchasers of a large water commission.
Aviation
Caminer Law provides on-call consulting services to a large airport system providing legislative, regulatory, and procurement advice and counsel. Working as a team member, Caminer Law assists with annual reporting requirements, legislative guides, legislative analyses, and procurement matters.
Transportation
Caminer Law, LLC provides legal services related to federally funded project labor agreements.
Housing Authority
Caminer Law was awarded a task-based contract to provide legal services in the areas of contracts, legislative, regulatory, and ethics to a large housing authority.

MBE/WBE Certification Process
The volume of documentation required for applications for Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) WBE Certification, Department of Transportation (DOT) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certification, Veteran-owned Business Enterprise (VBE), state and local certifications is daunting, time consuming, and challenging. We provide the services and effort needed to follow-through on applying and responding to the myriad of questions asked and documents requested by the various certifying agencies.
For non-construction businesses, the City of Chicago allows for an attorney to sign a Professional Declaration of Eligibility (PDE) on behalf of a non-construction business/applicant seeking MBE and WBE certifications. The PDE process reduces months of time to process applications for certification. With Caminer Law's help, clients have been certified in a shorter amount of time.
Estate Planning
Caminer Law, LLC provides estate planning assistance. Irene and Brian work with clients and their professional advisors (accountant, financial planner, life insurance advisor, banker, and broker) to prepare for the future. Caminer Law guides and assists with the goals and concerns of the client to help preserve assets. Estate planning typically covers the transfer of property at death as well as a variety of other personal matters and may or may not involve tax planning. Caminer Law assists in properly planning the best place and/or person for one’s assets before they are no longer able to decide.
