Founded in 2018, Caminer Law, LLC is a certified woman-owned, small business law firm that assists in areas of estate planning, infrastructure, procurement, legislative, regulatory, certification, ethics initiatives, and communications.
Estate planning was added to our services because we recognized an important need: people want to feel prepared for the future, but the conversations that lead to that peace of mind are not always easy to begin. Irene Caminer
Attorney
With more than 30 years of government experience, including 20 years as in-house counsel to the City of Chicago Department of Water Management, Irene advises clients on how to navigate local, state, and federal issues that confront business and government.
After updating her own estate plan, Irene added estate planning to the firm’s services. In 2025, she introduced technology and streamlined processes to make planning clear, approachable, and practical. Caminer Law tailors each conversation to help clients protect their wishes and plan with confidence.
Brian Caminer
Attorney
Brian brings public, private, and not-for-profit legal, legislative, and ethics experience and expertise to Caminer Law. He is well-versed in the laws and regulations including ethics, compliance, public sector contracts, monitoring, procurement management, and workforce development.
Yessenia Martinez
Paralegal
Yessenia Martinez has been a paralegal at Caminer Law for three years, working to support clients through the estate planning process. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Business Marketing at Northeastern Illinois University.
Her experience at Caminer Law has given her the skills to understand clients' needs and communicate clearly, approaching each client with care and attention.
