Irene Caminer

Attorney

Irene Caminer started Caminer Law, LLC in 2018 after a 30-year career at the City of Chicago.  Soon after starting the business her father-in-law passed away.  Irene knew that her and her husband’s estate plan had not been reviewed in more than 20 years. While building Caminer Law to be a certified woman-owned, small business law firm with a focus on infrastructure, procurement, legislative, regulatory, certification, ethics initiatives, and communications, Irene started taking courses on estate planning and redrafted her and Brian’s plan. Soon after, Irene added estate planning to Caminer Law’s services.

In 2025, Irene made technology improvements to make the estate planning approachable and in plain language with concrete processes. Caminer Law aims to give its clients confidence while they are living and provide guidance when they need it most. People want to plan for the future, and our client-centered approach means every conversation is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring you feel heard, understood, and confident in the decisions you make.

After recognizing that her own estate plan needed updating, Irene expanded the firm’s services to include estate planning. She saw that many people avoid these conversations, so she focuses on making the process clear and approachable. In 2025, she introduced new technology and streamlined procedures to offer plain-language guidance and concrete next steps. Caminer Law’s client-centered approach helps clients plan for the future with confidence, protect their wishes during their lifetimes, and receive guidance when they need it most. Every conversation is tailored to each client’s needs, so they feel heard, understood, and confident in their decisions.
